Going back to Rama
Hanuman climbed on a mountain
His enthusiasm, a fresh fountain
From there Hanuman made His leap
The size Hanuman took was very steep
Jambhavan from the other shore, watched Hanuman come
Hanuman waving His hands, and making noise, some
Gave Jambhavan hope that all has gone well
Jambhavan to Angada, good news he did tell
"The way Hanuman comes, gives me a lot of hope
That in the mission, Hanuman did cope
From there He shouts, "Jai Shri Ram"
He, waving His hands, makes me feel warm"
As Jambhavan was saying so, Hanuman came there
With the good news, That He knew, where Sita were
He elaborated at length about all that did happen
The enthuse and Happiness of the troupe did steepen
They decided to go to Lord Rama's presence
And share with Him, of what happened, the essence
The monkey troupe were beyond happy and ecstatic
They celebrated Hanuman for doing something dramatic
On the way back, they saw Madhuvanam, a garden
With fruits, flowers and honey, the garden was laden
Jambhavan told the monkeys to eat as much they want
To stop them from enjoying, nobody, in that place can't
The fruits that hanged from trees, the monkeys did eat
With the honey that was abundant, themselves they did treat
They were proud and smug, that they had achieved a feat
Anyone who tried to stop them, left and right, they beat
A monkey named Dhadhimuka, was in charge of the place
From the monkeys destroying the garden, Dhadhimuka try to brace
But the monkeys beat Him left and right
With Dhadhimuka's men they got into a fight
Dhadhimuka left the spot and ran to his king
About the monkeys trespassing, he at length did sing
To Dhadhimuka's dismay, Surgiva was happy
Sugriva called the act of monkeys: "Snappy"
The monkeys are doing such acts, because they have succeeded
Before bringing good news to us, naughty ways, they've preceded
To let the monkeys behave as they like, to Dhadhimuka, Sugriva, instructed
As to do what next, ideas and plans, Sugriva in his mind, constructed
After ravishing Madhuvanam, the monkeys came to their King's presence
About what had happened, the monkeys explained the essence
Lord Rama and Sugriva listened, to the monkeys keenly
About how Mother Sita, in Lanka, lived very lonely
About Hanuman fighting alone, Lord Rama expressed his concern
That burning Lanka was wrong, Lord Rama did discern
"After talking to Sita, you should've come back silently
You should not have made noise and behaved violently
What would we do, if something had happened to you
The trust we had on you, was not on a very few
Lanka, the city, with fire, why did you burn
On old people, cattle and children, didn't the fire turn
I am happy you came back safely, to me
Victory on your side, was ever to be
Thank you very much for accomplishing the task
In my appreciation and applause, you must bask"
Hanuman handed over the ornament Mother Sita gave
To Lord Rama, creating in Rama, a happy wave
Lord Rama hugged the ornament to His chest
And said to Hanuman, Hanuman was the best
Lord Rama hugged Hanuman and expressed His joy
Hanuman smiled with humility like a happy boy
The next they should do, was to go to fight
With Ravan in Lanka, with all their might
"To go to Lanka, we must start now
Crossing the sea, we should do somehow"
Thus was said, by Sugriva, to Ram
Jai Shri Ram! Jai Jai Shri Ram!!
