The Ultimate Liberator!
For the seekers of knowledge
Can there be a knowledge?
better than
The Knowledge of The Divine, Shri Rama!
The one who liberated
Even the blades of grasses
And all the swarms of ants
Leaving none behind
That ever existed
In the Good City of Ayodhya
And placed them in
An exotic heaven
Created exclusively for them
By the Great Grandshire Brahma!

Ramayanam is Agriculture
Bhagavatham is Harvest

The twin-syllable, Rama
When a devotee exalts!
The Birth-Death cycle
It permanently halts
Goodness and Wealth
It everyday brings
Sin and poverty
It cleanses and shrinks
-Kambar
Goodness Honesty Sweetness Simplicity
Gentleness Strength Humility Bravery
Valour Talent Prowess Success
Memory Trustworthiness Heroism Genuinity
Such adorable qualities and so much more
By chanting Rama's name you will score!

My Lord's Story: Goodness Incarnate
Ramayanam in English poetry.
This humility of The Lord, that makes Him come down to earth and share with us our difficulties to show us a way to handle them is what I admire in Him. This quality of Him, makes me surrender to Him unconditionally and makes me want to sing His Glory on and on and on.
My Lord's Story is an out pour of my devotion that seeps out in gratitude for the pains He took to be a lighthouse for us, to cross the ocean of Samsara.

Garuda's Help
To attack Lanka, Lord Rama decided
In attacking Lanka, Lord Rama preceded
The monkeys surrounded the fort of Lanka in crores
Their weapons were trees that were plucked from groves
The monkeys' weapons were trees, hills and rocks
They threw their attacks on Lanka, keeping Lankites in shocks
The Rakshashas on the other end, retaliated with swords, spears and knives
They were disappointed that in their own place they had to fight for their lives
Indrajeeth came there in invisible disguise
He came there and fought with despise
Before Rama and Lakshman could realise where he was
He shot Naga Asthras on them, like he was the boss
The Naga Asthras are arrows that have the quality of serpents
Rama and Lakshman fell, because of Naga asthra that torments
The Naga Asthra binded both Rama and Lakshman
Indrajeeth happily went back with his henchmen
Binded by Snakes, Ram and Lakshman lay on the ground
The monkey army did surround Ram and Lakshman around
Sugriva was sad, His eyes filled with tears
Vibhishan came there and dispelled Sugriva's fears
"Ram and Lakshman will wake up, please don't lose heart
Falling in war, for heroes, is a parcel and part
Look at their faces, the vital signs are good
Soon be awake and back on their feet, they should"
As Vibhishan was talking so, Garuda came there
For Ram and Lakshman, He did care
As He came close, the snakes took leave
Ram and Lakshman got relieved, and they did heave
Garuda wiped Ram and Lakshman with his wings
Ram and Lakshman got relieved from the snakes' stings
Like from sleep Ram and Lakshman did awake
Garuda's presence protected them from the snake
Ram and Lakshman were curious who Garuda was
At the correct time to help them, how did he come to pass
Garuda replied to them, that time will tell the truth
Till then they have to think of Garuda as a friend with ruth
Thus Ram and Lakshman fell to deceptive trick
Though they were Gods, to human norms they did stick
Garuda, like a God, came to help Ram
Jai Shri Ram! Jai Jai Shri Ram!!
